Are You a Dipper or Dweller in Gods Country
SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Are You a Dipper or Dweller in God’s Country

There is an art to making a good tea. You can dip your teabag up and down in the hot water and then pull it out. Or you can let it dwell there so you can experience the tea’s full strength and flavour. Are You a Dipper or Dweller in Gods Country

The secret of victorious christian living is not dipping in God’s presence once a week in church but dwelling in it everyday. Get into God’s word each day, meditate on it and ask lord, what are you saying to Me?

When you are a dipper, you got to make things happen by your own effort. You’ve got to move the bag up and down, wrap the string around the spoon, then pull.

A leaf on water surface with drops.

It is the depth and duration of your dwelling that determines the strength and richness of your spiritual life. Don’t be a dipper! Be a dweller.

Out of the busy schedule make a conscious effort to dwell in God’s word. Create time even when it looks as if there is no time. Be disciplined about it.

Are You a Dipper or Dweller in God’s Country

Dwell denotes a fixed position, not something that occurs sporadically. You have to abide there in. Many christians only visit the word when there are in trouble or desperate need. Don’t be carried away by day in, day out work and hustles.

Create time to dwell!! Don’t only Dip! Have a great week

Are You a Dipper or Dweller in God’s presence?

Are you a Dipper or a dweller? The answer to this question will determine whether you have an intimate relationship with God, or if your life is just going through the motions.

A dipper dips into the depths of the Word of God regularly. His spiritual life is vibrant and full of joy in knowing that he has a personal relationship with God. He knows that he has been spiritually fed, bathed, and clothed by the Lord Jesus Christ. He is always seeking to grow deeper in his fellowship with God and to experience His presence more fully in his daily life.

The dweller on the other hand knows that he lives in God’s presence every day of his life, but does not want it to be as it should be. He doesn’t want to experience His love, His power, His forgiveness, and His grace because he feels that it would make him too dependent on Him for everything that he needs in his life. Instead, he believes that he can do this all by himself without any help from anyone else including God Himself! So what does this mean? It means that for the dweller on earth there will never be any real peace or joy because there is always

A dipper dips his hand or his foot in the water and picks up some of it to drink. The other person is called a DWELLER because he has stepped into the water, but he doesn’t dip his foot in it.

In this way, we see that the main difference between a Dipper and a Dweller is that the former drinks from the cup of suffering while the latter drinks from the cup of joy. The Dipper drinks because he feels thirsty; the Dweller drinks because he feels thirsty.

The purpose of human life is to become like Christ by drinking from His cup of suffering so that we may have eternal life as we drink from His cup of joy forever and ever!

Are you a Dipper or a Dweller?

The Lord Jesus is the Vine, and we are His branches. He is the Light of the World, and we are His sons and daughters. He is our only hope, and we are His sheep. He is our teacher, and we are His disciples. He is our friend, and we are His friends.

If we want to know what God’s heart is like, we must look at how He relates to His children. John 15:5 says that “you have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you.” And Jesus said in John 15:7 “If a man loves Me, he will keep My words; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”

The question then becomes this: Are you a Dipper or a Dweller? The postures of our lives reveal these truths about who we are in Christ Jesus.

  1. Next time I read a blog, Hopefully it wont fail me as much as this one. After all, I know it was my choice to read through, but I genuinely thought you would have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of moaning about something that you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.
