I was with a friend immediately after service yesterday, and he had some burdens to share, so we discussed and prayed about it… After several hours of discussion, he voiced out and said NOW I BELIEVE YOU WROTE THOSE ARTICLES ON YOUR FACEBOOK WALL…hmmm.. I smiled and told him some things which I think I should put here so others might benefit it too..
There is no magic about it… Our lifestyle, our word, mode of doing things over time is influenced by something or probably people. Consciously or unconsciously you start behaving and doing what you hear,see and feed your mind with. That’s why you need to be careful of what goes into your system, who you spend your time with and what you spend time with!!.
As you spend more time with God through his word and prayers you get to see new realms and greater insight. Sometimes you hear ministers of God preach and you desire to be like them or share rhema like them but are you ready to painstakingly sacrifice to get it ….
I was privileged to be with a popular man of God sometimes last year while I was in the North, and he said sometimes 3-4days he is alone his room, his P.A everybody around knows he needs time and he needs to dig deep!! When he ministers live flows out…
Out of no time,you must still pay the sacrifice to DIG DEEP!!!Have you ever heard a song and you weigh the powerful lyrics of the song?? Somebody somewhere had to spend more time, invest in prayers, sleepless night just to get it..
If you are not motivated to have enough time with God,then you have gotten a wrong idea or revelation about God. The overall worth of your life as a believer is the amount of the revelational knowledge of God working in you. If you need to know,find out in the word of God.
Ephesians 4:14-15 we are not meant to remain as children but to grow up into every way into Christ.. Spiritual maturity is not automatic.. It takes time and effort.. There is no shortcut to spiritual growth. It takes an intentional pursuit. It won’t come automatically or quickly but gradually…
Out of no time, create time! Sit patiently with the word, don’t always be in a hurry… There are so much distractions, don’t be carried away.. Remember no one graduates from bible study until he meets with the author face to face. Shalom!
