Yea… Sometimes you feel like you’ve come to the end of what you can control and forcefully you cry out to God. God doesn’t waste our waiting. He uses it to conform us to the image of his Son…
Can you please sit back and wait patiently on him…He will orchestrate the encounter. Jesus does have your best interest at heart. He desires to bless you by giving you the best. He will one day bring Mr. Right to you… Regardless of your unique situation. You may think that your occupation or your location may not make you very accessible to available godly men, but these roadblocks do not stop God.
Just as God brought Eve to Adam, Rebekah to Isaac, Ruth to Boaz, he will surely do yours… Whenever the restlessness of singleness, captures your mind, or you are overtaken by the thought of being disadvantaged as a single lady just take a moment to commit that care to where it belongs. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”
Some singles see the lack of a mate as God denying them something very important. But you know what, Our selfish nature tends to focus on what we do not have rather than on what we do have. See you have the free time now!!! The Free time to learn new things- new cooking skills, new business skills, new business ideas, improve yourself, serve God and be a better person… what can a single person do on valentine’s day
God’s definition of singleness must be kept in mind for singles to live intentionally in their calling. Knowing that God wants for singleness to send a message about his own supremacy and sufficiency, as well as the love and dedication that the church should have for him, here are three ideas for how single people might allow this message show through their lives.
First and foremost, Christians must realize that their calling does not define them. Being single is a calling, not a status. A Christian’s basic identity, the thing that defines him, is firmly founded in his relationship with Jesus Christ. God’s love for him is what makes him who he is. He is adored and respected.
There are a lot of things to explore that can be used for others and ourselves. Is your life on hold until you have someone to hold?
